अमेरिकी विदेश विभाग के प्रवक्ता मैथ्यू मिलर पर वस्तुतः एकतरफा होने का आरोप लगाया गया है। वह केजरीवाल के बारे में बहुत मुखर हैं लेकिन जब उन्हें पाकिस्तान में एक के बाद एक गिरफ्तार किया जाता है तो वह चुप रहते हैं। इसी दौरान पत्रकारों ने उनसे इस बारे में सवाल किया. आप केजरीवाल की गिरफ्तारी पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं. लेकिन जब पाकिस्तान में गिरफ्तारियां होती हैं तो आप चुप रहते हैं.
मिलर ने उस सवाल के जवाब में कहा, मैं ऐसे बयानों का समर्थन नहीं करता. मैं इस तरह के भेद से सहमत नहीं हूं. कई मौकों पर हमने यह स्पष्ट किया है कि हम पाकिस्तान में कानून का शासन देखना चाहते हैं। वहां मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा होनी चाहिए. विश्व के किसी भी देश में हमारी यही स्थिति है।
